Dandilion Mobility Solutions started in February 2008 by Denise Valerie Nordquist.
Having been in the car rental industry for 12 years, working for companies like Avis, Imperial, Europcar and Tempest, and realising that there was a gap in the market, it was decided to take the bold step of opening a black woman owned business in an industry previously dominated by males.
Having been in the service industry prior to this, industrial cleaning and indoor plants, has given us the edge in that we are aware that SERVICE IS KING.
We will strive to make your mobility our priority in every way.
Should we not be able to assist you within 24hours we will certainly be able to either given you an alternative or point you in the right direction.
While the core service of Dandilion Mobility Solutions is to provide cash car rental and vehicle hire of cars, armoured vehicles and luxury vehicles, the company also believes in inspiring community growth and development. The company’s corporate social investment has a strong focus on growing women and their families. Simply put, to grow a women would in turn grow their families. Inspiration growth and development of women and families lies at the heartbeat of Dandilion Mobility Solution’s CSI vision.
In our modern day society, the role of women has extended from nurturers to bread winners. Often, the responsibility of raising children and providing for their family falls on the shoulders of women. Dandilion Mobility serves women in showing appreciation for their daily efforts in looking after their families in their Pamper Project. The Pamper Project was launched in 2010, when a group of ladies came together and were pampered from head to toe by Dandilion Mobility Solutions staff.
WHAT SOME OF THE LADIES HAVE TO SAY:
“Niemand het ooit dit vir my gedoen nie. Ek sal dit nooit vergeet nie”
“What a shock to arrive for cake and tea and get so much more, goodie bag, facial, pedicure, beautiful cocktails. This was such a beautiful and relaxing day”
“All I can say is thank you, thank you thank you”
“We always feel so left out, nobody seems to think of us because we are not rich or in with the right “crowd” so this is such an amazing day, to think somebody thought of doing this for ME! SHEW!”
In April 2011, Dandilion Mobility Solutions in partnership with Volunteer Mzansi Afrika and Blue Cherry Marketing & PR Creations embarked on a community upliftment initiative called, Ich Bien – I am Project. This project is aimed at supporting and motivating grade four learners to remain in school and work hard at gaining their education. The message of the initiative is that hard work pays. Volunteer Mzansi Afrika and Dandilion Moibility Solutions contributed to the school fees and motivating them to remain focused in reaching their goals for the future. Some of the grade four learner’s school fees were sponsored by other corporates. The six learners were selected from primary schools in the Ocean View and Masiphumelele community who showed a consistent level of hard work in their grades. .
This vehicle hire one stop company, continues to look forward to opportunities that realise their corporate social investment vision.
